There are many opportunities for service hours. If your child is in need of service hours, please give me a call.
Fall Retreat will be held at Camp Letts this year in Edgewater MD. The dates for retreat are November 18-20. The approximate cost of retreat is 65.00/student. The will be information coming home in a few short weeks giving more details on the retreat. Camp Letts is a YMCA facility in Edgewater, MD. We are planning a wide variety of activities that will be both spiritual and exciting for the teens. Please mark you calendars and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email or call. |
New this fall is the combination of St. Anthony's Bread (the 8th grade service project) with Youth Group Fun Nights. We will meet up on the Hill first to help the 8th graders with the sandwich making, and then we will proceed on to various fun activities. (Bowling, etc.) This will provide a great opportunity to combine service with much desired additional social activities.
Congratulations to all those who participated in the Car Wash for Hurricane Katrina. After 5 hours of very hard work, we raised over 600.00 to send to the Hurricane Relief effort. Thank you to all who supported us! |
